Emily T. Stewart joined the firm in September 2022 after graduating from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She was admitted to the California Bar in December 2022.

Since the time Ms. Stewart joined the firm, she acquired considerable experience in the firm’s litigation practice, including law and motion, discovery and trial experience in probate and civil matters.

In May 2023, Ms. Stewart has obtained a complete victory in her first trial in Beverly Hills, in favor of the property owner in a tenant’s breach of lease case. She tried this case as a first chair, securing damages in the form of back rent and attorneys’ fees.

During law school, Ms. Stewart externed for the Honorable Chief Judge Stanley A. Bastian in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington where she worked on both civil and criminal matters. Ms. Stewart also acquired experience in the real estate litigation when she worked for the Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County Shriver Clinic, helping tenants preserve their housing rights. She was also a member of the International Baseball Arbitration Moot Court team that placed at the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition in 2022.
