Troy Martin Awarded Presidential Volunteer Service Award for Work Fighting Elder Abuse

At a ceremony on April 12, 2019 in Washington DC, Troy Martin was awarded a Presidential Volunteer Service Award for his work fighting elder abuse with Kasem Cares.  Kasem Cares is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing awareness and education and advocating for change in the law.  In addition to frequently speaking on the subject of elder abuse, Mr. Martin has successfully drafted and lobbied for legislation being passed in 12 states, including California, Texas, and Illinois which makes it easier for children of elderly parents suffering from neurocognitive disorders to obtain the right to visit with their ailing parents.
