“Kurt Schmalz and his team did such a wonderful job at trial that the jury awarded our full $3 million claim plus over $1 million in interest.  They clearly were better-prepared at trial than the opposition, and used technology effectively in the courtroom.  The jury liked him when the trial ended; that made a difference in the result.  They duplicated their result on appeal.  Similar to the response from the jury, he received a unanimous “affirmed” from the Court of Appeal.   But for Kurt, life might not have proven to be as good as it now promises to be.”
